Eight new judges for FCT High Court sworn in

Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Justice Aloysius Katsina-Alu, has inaugurated eight newly appointed judges for the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The swearing-in ceremony took place yesterday at the Supreme Court of Nigeria. The newly appointed judges of the FCT are Veralyn Victoria Mwuesetern Venda (Mrs.), Mohammed Mamman Kolo and Angela Ogbenyealu Otaluka.

The rest are Abba Bello Mohammed, Valentine Bekeh Ashi, Ajoke Safuratu Adepoju (Mrs) Usman Alhaji Musale and Yusuf Hallilu, a private legal practitioner. All serving justices of the apex court attended the event. In a brief remark, the CJN charged the newly appointed Judges to imbibe the fear of God.
