The Proprietor of Right way Academy, Rev. Philip Abacha, has declared scholarships in his schools for orphans. The proprietor, who made this declaration at the 2010 graduation ceremony of the school at the weekend, said the aim of running a school is not to generate funds alone but to also make positive impacts in the lives of children.
“We want to train orphans free because it is not all about making money but also about making positive impacts in the lives of children and God will help us in training them,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, Chief Marvel Ekwenugo, who donated laptops to the school, said the school has effected positive changes and exposure in the lives of its pupils.
Mrs. Clara Akparaku, a parent, also commended the school, adding that before her first daughter came into the school, she could hardly speak and read but after the second term of her enrolment, she improved tremendously.
