Bank customers were yesterday thrown into panic as four armed teenagers allegedly trailed a customer  to the premises of a bank in Minna, taking N1 million from their victim.

According to witnesses, the victim who is a car dealer, was trailed from a different bank where he had earlier taken N1.5 million for a business transaction and was at the next bank for another transaction when he was attacked. He said foul play cannot be dismissed in the robbery as he maintained that it is possibly the handiwork of those who knew he would be going to the bank for such transaction.

He said the unidentified robbers who had finished their operation exchanged fire with the police within the bank premises before dashing off in their vehicle. Police spokesman Mr Richard Oguche said he only heard of the incident but could not confirm the story officially.
He however maintained that the police would investigate the incident to bring the perpetuators to justice.
